03.06.2009 is the date of issue new collector coins. Two days earlier Nordic Gold coin will have issue. It will be coins commemorating the The election of 4 June.

The National Bank of Poland has publish images and basic information about new issue.

To the collection of collector coins will be added:

• silver coin with the face value 10 zł:
  - issue price - 65 pln,
  - mintage 100.000 pieces.
• gold coin with the face value 200 zł:
  - issue price - 2033 pln,
  - mintage 10.000 pieces.
• gold coin with the face value 25 zł:
  - issue price - 220 pln,
  - mintage 40.000 pieces.

Since 1996, the National Bank of Poland has also been issuing occasional Nordic Gold coins of 2 złoty denomination. The issue mintage of this coin is planned to the value 1.300.000 pieces.

All coins issued by the National Bank of Poland are legal tender in Poland.
