02.12.2009 is the date of issue new collector coins. One day earlier Nordic Gold coin will have issue. It will be coins commemorating the Poles Who Saved the Jews - Irena Sendler, Zofia Kossak, Sister Matylda Getter

The National Bank of Poland has publish images and basic information about new issue.

To the collection of collector coins will be added:

• silver coin with the face value 20 zł:
  - issue price - 105 pln,
  - mintage 100.000 pieces.

Since 1996, the National Bank of Poland has also been issuing occasional Nordic Gold coins of 2 złoty denomination. The issue mintage of this coin is planned to the value 1.400.000 pieces.

All coins issued by the National Bank of Poland are legal tender in Poland.
