Dobrochna Surajewska is an artist with M.A. diploma of Gdansk Academy of Fine Arts. At 2005 she was invited to cooperate with Mint of Poland, and at 2011 to the National Bank of Poland. Since then she designed numerous coins and medals, and most of them were developed from the early concept stage to the final production plaster model. Coins of her design were among the internationally awarded ones:

• "Tall Ships - Constitution" was awarded with 2nd place on the 5th Annual Coin Constellation Contest (in the "Successful Artistic Solution" category).
• The coin minted to commemorate 100th Anniversary of the Society for the Protection of the Blind earned the “Most Inspirational Coin Award".
